The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the schedule for the Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (Advanced ICITSS) – Advanced IT Test for 2025. The test will be conducted in Computer-Based Mode (CBT) on several dates, starting from May 24, 2025, to November 29, 2025. Eligibility requires candidates to complete the Advanced ICITSS – Advanced IT course by specific dates before the exams. The online submission of applications opens several weeks before each test date, with the last date for submission being five to seven days before the test. The exams will be held in various cities across India, as well as in Dubai and Kathmandu. Applicants must fill out their forms online at the ICAI website, with no late fee for first-time applicants and a ₹500 fee for subsequent attempts. A separate fee applies for centers in Dubai and Kathmandu. The test will follow both the old and new syllabi, with no further old syllabus tests after November 2025. Candidates are required to attend in person at the selected center, with no option to change their chosen center.

ANNOUNCEMENT
The AICITSS (AIT – Old Syllabus) Test conducted by Examination Department for students who have undergone Advanced IT (Old Syllabus) course will not be conducted after November 2025.
All eligible students who are yet to appear in the Advance IT (Old Syllabus) Test can appear in the test(s) to be conducted by Examination Department till the month of November 2025. Here ‘Old syllabus’ means Advance IT course implemented prior to 1st March 2025.
In other words, no further Advance ITT (old Syllabus) Test will be conducted after November 2025, the date(s) for which will be notified by examination department. Thereafter, the students who have not cleared the test have to appear in the AICITSS (AIT) Test under new syllabus i.e. Advanced IT Course which was implemented w.e.f 1st March 2025.

Timings of Examination: 10:30 AM to 12.30 PM (IST)
Above mentioned exams of AICITSS (AIT) shall be conducted in both old and new syllabus course, no further Advance ITT – Old Syllabus- Test will be conducted after November 2025. Candidates enrolled under the new syllabus will be allowed to appear for the exam based on the updated curriculum, while those under the old syllabus will take the exam as per the old syllabus. Here ‘Old syllabus’ means Advance IT course implemented prior to 1st March 2025.
The computer-based tests will be held at the following cities provided sufficient number of candidates offer themselves to appear in the test, from the said cities. ICAI reserves the right to cancel the centre and allot the candidates to any centre / city other than the one he / she has opted for, in case the number of candidates who opt for appearing in that city / centre is not adequate or the centre cannot be opened due to any other restrictions.

On-line filling up of examination forms:
Candidates who have/would have undergone the Advanced ICITTS-Advanced Information Technology course as per respective exam eligibility and desirous of appearing in the test, will be required to apply online at https://advit.icai.org and pay the applicable test fee online. No physical applications will be entertained. There is no concept of submission of applications with late fee. No change of center will be permitted once opted.
TEST FEE
The examination fee will be as follows:
A candidate who is applying for the test for the first time will not be required to pay the test fee. However, those who are applying for the test thereafter, i.e. from second time onwards will be required to pay a test fee of ₹ 500/- online through the payment gateway. For Dubai Centre, the test fee will be USD $ 150 and for Kathmandu, the same will be ₹ 850/-.
